After many Pixar productions, our newest short film comes from Italy.

Altough he might have recieved some support, this 3d animation was written, produced and directed by Marco Spitoni, who worked as a senior artist for a local videogames developer company. He says the project for "Code Guardian" was a 5-years' hard work but after watching the film from beginning to end, it's quite hard to believe that this is actually a one man's job.



All the textures, 3D models, lighting and motion / dynamics are not much different from the "famous" Pixar studio projects. It is written in his web site that he has used 3D Studio Max to create this 3D animation.

My personal background is not sufficient for me to criticise this movie, thus all I can say is watch it and feel the shock for yourself.
